BALLARD MUSIC STUDIO is the collective name for the students of Dr. Jeffrey Ballard who study at three distinct teaching locations.  These three locations are in three Indiana cities - Muncie, Indianapolis, and Anderson - and all have one thing in common: Dr. Jeffrey Ballard is the teacher. The teaching philosophy and studio mission of Dr. Ballard remains consistent throughout these locations.

MUNCIE - THE MAIN STUDIO

Times:  Dr. Ballard teaches here on Mondays and Tuesdays (all day and evening both days).  During the summers, Dr. Ballard teaches here five days a week (M-F), but while Anderson University is in session, the Muncie Studio is open on Mondays and Tuesdays exclusively.

Who is welcome:  Everyone - private students in voice and piano of all ages and levels.

Piano: The Ballard Music Studio piano was purchased from Piano Solutions of Indianapolis in January, 2007.  This piano serves all the students of voice and piano who study with Dr. Ballard at the Muncie location.

This piano is a Remington (model 153) 5'2" Baby Grand in Ebony finish, built by the Joseph Pramberger Piano Company.  It has a rich, warm tone with even action throughout.  The piano is just the right size for the Muncie location. Pramberger was a long-time associate of Steinway, and he brought to his own company much of the expertise of hand-crafted pianos learned from his time with Steinway.  Remington is an especially fine instrument for the small studio as it is hand-crafted, has fine materials throughout, including an all-spruce soundboard and mahogany rim that so important for tone quality and sustaining.

Location:  St. Luke's United Methodist Church (music department), 100 W. 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana

Times:  Dr. Ballard teaches here on Sundays (all day and evening most Sundays)

Who is welcome:  Everyone - private students in voice and piano of all ages and levels.

Location: Anderson University School of Music, Music Building, Studio 314B, Anderson, Indiana

Times: Dr. Ballard teaches here on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during fall and spring semesters

Who is welcome:  Primarily Anderson University students, with a few openings for private students.
